Our football betting lines provide you an opportunity to wager on all aspects of the game. Below is some banter that's happening around the NFL on who are some of the stronger contenders this year:

Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers: With laser-like precision and a rocket arm, Rodgers has all the qualities to lead the Pack to another championship via the NFC North division title. Whether shooting darts, scrambling to find the open man, or setting up in the pocket to heave a bomb downfield, he can make any throw necessary. Rodgers' 100+ QB rating over the past two seasons should continue in 2011. He's won the Super Bowl MVP, there's no reason to believe he can't win league MVP as well.

Tom Brady, QB, Patriots: Coach Bill Belichick has given his Brady an array of offensive weapons, so watch out. Even a substandard season for Brady would be considered a career-defining season for other QBs. Last year Brady threw for 3,900 yards and had a league-high rating of 111 as the Pats went 14-2. Just another day at the office for Tom, right? Even if the talent around him is average, he somehow manages to will the Patriots to victory. If that isn't the hallmark of a champion (or MVP) what is?

Drew Brees, QB, Saints. It would be no overstatement to call Brees one of the top three quarterbacks in the NFL and a constant contender for MVP and taking his Saints to a NFC South division title. In fact, he may well be the best when it comes to spreading the ball around the field. Thanks to his vision and pinpoint accuracy, the Saints QB makes life difficult for defensive backfields because no matter how good the coverage, Brees will always find an open receiver. His 658 pass attempts were second most in the NFL last year, with over 4,600 yards and a 90.9 rating.

Michael Vick, QB, Eagles: The $100 million man put up 3,200 yards with his cannon like arm and another 800 yards with his nimble feet. Can he do it again this year? Quite possibly, considering the depth at receiver talent, and a physical ground game. One concern is the Eagles' inexperience along the offensive line with two starting rookies. Vick isn't built to take a lot of punishment, so number 7 must be protected at all costs. If so, Vick makes a worthy candidate for MVP and to take the Eagles to a NFC East title.

Philip Rivers, QB, Chargers: With his unorthodox delivery, Rivers has amassed close to 13,000 yards and racked up 92 touchdowns and a QB rating of 100 in the last 3 seasons, often with a dearth of receiving talent. Now he's got quality targets in Vincent Jackson, Malcolm Floyd, Antonio Gates and a strong running game to open things up. Rivers could put up MVP and Pro Bowl stats this season.

Matt Schaub, QB, Texans: Schaub is always underrated, which makes him an intriguing dark horse candidate for MVP. Consider: With Peyton Manning out of the picture Schaub is the best quarterback in the AFC South, and he has a reliable deep threat in receiver Andre Johnson. He's put up over 4,300 passing yards in each of the last two seasons; the guy can play, and the Texans could win the weakened AFC South.
