New NBA Ball Defective

I don’t know about you but I’m super excited about the upcoming NBA season. Especially Lebron James, I love Cleveland. All those tall athletic men jumping up and down all over the court in amazing feats of athleticism. I understand that the NBA is trying out a new ball this preseason.

Unfortunately I’ve heard many of the NBA players are complaining as they ball is soft and tends to be heavier at the end of the game as it absorbs some moisture. I’m really tired of all these millionaires complaining about a few small things here or there when the game changes a bit for the fans. “It’s affecting my shot”, “I can’t dribble as well”, “I can’t hold on to the ball”, please grow up, you’re a professional and I’m sure if the higher ups in the NBA introduced a new ball I’m sure it’s an overall improvement even if a few tweaks need to made, it’s for the good of the game.

Big Ben Finally Done Shopping

The detention-room has been opened for Big Ben Roethlisberger. Although his four-game suspension technically ended before the bye week, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be back under center for the Steelers in Sunday’s game against the Browns. The good news for Pittsburgh (3-1) is that it hasn’t really missed him.

Recently when asked how Big Ben has been filling up the time, he responded with:

“I recently found Bed, Bath & Beyond and I have to tell you I’m tired of taking a dump in a dump.  Got some nice toilet paper, tissue paper cozy, a nice bath mat, it’s going really well. My honey-do items are growing shorter on my list; I’ve fixed the back yard fence, waxed my car and shaved my legs.  It’s much more aero-dynamic and I’m ready to take the field again feeling much lighter! I’m really tired of hanging out at the mall, the food court just isn’t as fun as it used to be and I’ve go something like 50 jerseys covering all sports and worn out my welcome at the sporting goods store, they’re tired about talking about defensive coverage with me. It’s time to move on and get back onto the football field.”

NFL Referee’s Institute Punishment

The NFL continually works on it’s image to provide wholesome role models for America’s youth. They have quickly clamped down on all types of improper off field activity that does not represent their image of a gentleman athlete and the NFL upper echelon have cast down harsh fines, suspensions and even expulsion from the league in recent years.

What is a catch in the NFL?

Up in Arms! It was a Touchdown!

Calvin Johnson should file charges against Gene Steratore for robbery. I don’t understand; the rules are so complicated that a tutorial should be presented after every play. And what’s with this second act business?

Is there a third act? Maybe they should turn the fourth quarter into an “Off Broadway Joe” musical. Calvin Johnson would Continue reading

Where Is the Decency in the NFL

I’ve been a huge fan of the NFL for a long time since by boyfriend introduced me to the sport three months ago. Coming from a competitive cheerleading background (top of the pyramid, thank you very much), I was captivated by the pure athleticism

all these hot guys showed on the field week in and week out. Arizona quickly became my favorite team. First of all, have you been to Phoenix? The weather Continue reading
